Moxie and Mav

I have been working with the horses a bit more than usual. It has been pretty awesome actually. I have been riding and even trotted on Moxie today. Sorry no photos as I am simply not that coordinated! to ride and take photos at the same time!!!

I worked with our mustang Mav today a bit too. He is getting eaten alive by the bugs. He does not like spray so I use a roller to apply fly spray. Today I am trying a new fly mask that covers his ears too. He was not very thrilled with me.

He seriously was annoyed, but to his credit he let me put on the mask without a fuss. Though as soon as I turned him out he was trying to scratch it off!!!

Moxie and I rode around in the arena and even did a little trail ride around one of our ponds. I tried trotting and so far so good. Meaning, my back is doing well! ( Maybe ask me tomorrow LOL!) The mornings have been good to get out on the horses because it isn't too hot yet. It's been good for me to get outside.

Why is a horse chomping on grass soothing? I know, I am a weird, but seriously, I can just zone out while they chomp on grass. I had a video but I am not techie enough to post it on the website so her is a photo of her chomping away:

Well, that's about it. Hug a horse when you get the chance and listen to them chomp a little grass. You will be in the best mood!!!
